Dr. Chryston and Dr. NaPortia are 2 mothers and rehab specialists who are passionate about the 5 pillars they established when they started their company in 2015: Advocate, Educate, Empower, Prepare, and Prevent for each of their clients and followers. They are committed to advancing healthcare in the U.S. in hopes that one day, pelvic floor physical therapy will be a standard of care for all patients.
Dr. NaPortia earned her Bachelor's and Masters of Science in Kinesiology/Exercise Science from Georgia Southern University in 2009 and 2011. She then attended the University of St. Augustine in FL where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2016. Dr. NaPortia started her career in an orthopedics clinic where she worked with various orthopedic injuries and athletes, however, her passion for pelvic health was always a foundation for each client. She then transitioned to pelvic health pursued her postdoctoral studies with APTA and Herman & Wallace. NaPortia’s main goal is to provide comprehensive care and education to women throughout all their lifespan, specifically the pregnant and postpartum woman.
NaPortia is a passionate pelvic health advocate and is dedicated her to mentoring therapists and providing transformational coaching to her pelvic health patients, while focusing on improving the quality of care given and access to knowledge for pelvic health of all genders. Due to her personal experience, NaPortia is working to improve the maternal mortality rate in the US. When not in the clinic, NaPortia enjoys spending time with her daughter, husband, family and friends.
Chryston earned her Bachelor of Science from University of Central Florida in 2012, Master of Occupational Therapy 2015 and Doctorate of Physical Therpay 2016 both from the University of St. Augustine in FL. Chryston has always had a love of serving patients overcoming pelvic floor dysfunction and pursued specialty training through the American Physical Therapy Association for pelvic health and obstetric and gynecology. Chryston is an advocate for patients regaining the quality of life they are striving for whether that be being the best mommy or returning to running. Currently, Chryston lives abroad in Central Africa with her daughter, son, and husband. In their spare time you can find them traveling to other countries and continents and immersing themselves in other cultures.
