The Impact Physical Therapy Can Have On Your Breast Cancer Recovery
BREAST CANCER
More and more women are “surviving” Breast Cancer, so what happens after the doctor says “You are cancer free”? What does remission look like? What does the journey to recovery entail? Many Breast Cancer Warriors have no clue.
Far too often, the side effects for the treatments that are necessary, are a casual mention and quickly dismissed. These side effects can be long lasting, out living the cancer itself. Of course, what a small price to pay to be alive!
Breast cancer survivors are seldom given the tools, resources, and support to genuinely RECOVER and take back their bodies, mentally, emotionally and most of all PHYSICALLY.
Physical Therapy addresses the changes, helps heal and gives survivors the tools to deal with some of the lasting effects of surviving Breast Cancer. Why just survive when you can “Thrive”, as painted pink would say!
The quality of the life lived after Cancer MATTERS!!!
We have partnered with an amazing organization, Painted Pink for Breast Cancer, to expand the exposure and knowlegde about breast cancer, specifically in the African American community. Click the link below to find out more information and how to get involved!
